Mitch Tonks’ award winning restaurants serving fresh, local sustainable seafood by the coast. The fish you’ll find on our menu comes from the fleet that lands daily at the quayside at Brixham fish market, or from MSC certified fisheries. Our skilled fishmongers prepare it right at the quayside, before sending it to our restaurants each day before lunch.

Rose and Crown

Set in Yealmpton, nestled inside the South Hams, the Rose & Crown is a fantastic village pub. Decorated with rich textures and colours, the inn is warmly elegant, offering cosy nooks and a roaring fire. Outside, the walled garden is an idyllic suntrap for dining alfresco as the sun sets.

Restaurant Meudon

The Kitchen

The Winking Prawn

Situated so close to the beach, you can have lunch in your swimsuit, the Winking Prawn sits just over the road from North Sands in Salcombe. Enjoy award winning food and drink at our beach cafe. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner and all the bits in between. Family and dog friendly, our cafe is the perfect pit stop to relax and grab a delicious bite to eat.

The Mariners

The Mariners is a proper British pub located beside the Camel Estuary in Rock, offering pub classic dishes, a Seasons menu, and fine ales from Sharps Brewery. Our menus have been designed by Paul Ainsworth and Head Chef Joe Rozier, championing the best of our local produce. We are open daily from 12 noon – 9pm, with reservable tables on both floors. Walk-ins are welcome but we recommend making a reservation, particularly during peak holiday and for our popular winter Sunday Roast lunches.

Old Custom House
